After scanning, the preview is not maintained, but the interface remains open. Scans have accurate and smooth shading, but some sharp edges appear uneven, and vertical faint bands are seen, especially in dark areas. This is not enough to reduce the image for the web, but it can be a problem if you want to archive photos or make extensions. Quality copy is fair, if it is rather vague.
